Anthony "Tony" Collins (born May 27, 1959) is a former running back in American football. He was a professional football player in the National Football League (NFL) and the Arena Football League (AFL). He attended East Carolina University and played football there.
Collins was drafted by the New York Giants in the seventh round of the 1981 NFL Draft. He played for the Giants from 1981 to 1992 and had two seasons with them in which he started at wide receiver. In 1993, he joined the AFL's Buffalo Bills and played one season with them. He finished his career with the Tampa Bay Storm of the NFL Europe league.
After his pro football career, Collins became a coach. He has been an assistant coach for the Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers, and Oakland Raiders of the NFL. He also has been an assistant coach for the South Florida Bulls of the NCAA Division I FCS football league and the West Virginia Mountaineers of the Big 12 Conference.
Collins served as the running backs coach for the United States national rugby sevens team at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
He is currently the running backs coach for the Miami Dolphins of the NFL.
Collins played college football at East Carolina University where he earned All-America honors.

He played for the New York Giants from 1986 to 1995 and won two Super Bowls with them. At 6 feet 3 inches tall and 205 pounds, Collins had an extensive career as a cover man and kick returner.
Collins attended high school in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he played football for Bishop Luers High School. As a senior, he returned nine kicks for touchdowns and was named All-State by The Indianapolis News. He finished his high school career with 2,021 all-purpose yards and 28 touchdowns.
He went on to play college football at Iowa State University. As a freshman in 1984, he started six of seven games at left cornerback before missing one game with an ankle injury. He finished with 57 tackles and three interceptions. As a sophomore in 1985, he started every game at left cornerback and led the team with eight interceptions while helping the Cyclones to their first 7-0 start since 1954. He finished with 51 tackles and four interceptions.
As a junior in 1986, he started 12 of 13 games at left cornerback and made the All-Big Eight Team. He finished with 55 tackles and five interceptions.
The New York Giants selected him in the second round of the 1986 NFL Draft. He attended Cal State Fullerton during his collegiate football career. In 2009, he was hired as the secondary coach for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.
Collins played for the Giants from 1986 to 1994, appearing in 179 games and recording 39 interceptions. He won two Super Bowls with New York, in 1990 and 1992. After leaving the Giants as a free agent, he played one season for the Dallas Cowboys before retiring.
After his retirement, Collins became a security consultant and served as an assistant coach for the USC Trojans football team from 1996 to 1999. He then moved on to coach at his alma mater, Cal State Fullerton, from 2000 to 2004. During his first season there, the Titans went 10-3 and made their first bowl appearance in 16 years. For his work there, Collins was named Pacific 8 Coach of the Year.
In 2005, Collins returned to coaching in the NFL when he was hired by the Washington Redskins as their defensive backs coach. He stayed with the team until 2008 when he was hired by the Oakland Raiders as their secondary coach.
Anthony Joseph Fasano (born April 20, 1984) is a free agent in the National Football League. The Dallas Cowboys selected him in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He was a Notre Dame football player in college. Fasano has also spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans, and Miami Dolphins. He won a Super Bowl with the New York Giants in 2014.
Fasano played high school football at Boston College High School in Boston, Massachusetts. There he earned All-State honors as a tight end. After graduating from BC High School in 2002, he went on to attend Notre Dame where he played defensive end for the Fighting Irish. As a senior in 2005, he led the team in sacks with 9.5 while playing in 12 games. He finished his career with 38 tackles and five forced fumbles.
After going unselected in the 2006 NFL Draft, Fasano signed with the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent. He appeared in 14 games as a rookie notching three sacks. In 2007, he started 11 of 12 games played and recorded 7.5 sacks. In 2008, he started 13 games for the first time in his career and tallied 42 tackles and six sacks. In 2009, he started 12 games and recorded 39 tackles and 5.5 sacks. In 2010, he started 13 games and recorded 36 tackles and 4.5 sacks. In 2011, he started 14 games and recorded 44 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
Kerry Michael Collins (born December 30, 1972) is a retired American football quarterback who spent 17 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Collins played for six NFL clubs, including the Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, and Tennessee Titans. He was drafted by the Panthers with the ninth pick of the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft.
Collins's career started out slowly, as he went 0-7 his first season in 1996 before taking over as the starter midseason after Steve Beuerlein was traded to the Denver Broncos. By 1998, he had led the Panthers to the playoffs as they defeated the Atlanta Falcons in the first round before being eliminated by Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers in the next round. In 1999, he helped Carolina reach its first Super Bowl since 1990, only to lose to the New England Patriots 14-37.
In 2000, Collins suffered a severe knee injury that required surgery which ended his season. He returned for the 2001 season but was eventually replaced by Jake Plummer. After one more season with the Panthers, he was traded to the New York Giants where he finished out his career.
In total, Collins played in 79 games over seven seasons, starting 70 of those games. He completed 3,341 of 5,542 passes for 39,579 yards with 28 touchdowns and 42 interceptions. He also ran for 1,918 yards and 21 scores.
