Brees has five of the top eight all-time throwing yards seasons. He's thrown 40 or more touchdown passes in a season twice, accounting for two of the ten instances in the NFL. Since 2004, Brees has been a top-10 fantasy QB in standard scoring leagues every year. He has been rated in the top three seven times.
Brees is one of only four quarterbacks in NFL history to begin their career with at least 20 consecutive games with at least one touchdown pass and at least one interception. The others are Terry Bradshaw, Ken Anderson, and Brett Favre.
Brees' average of nearly nine victories per season is the most in the NFL over the past fifteen years. His 112 wins are also the most among qualified quarterbacks during that period.
He is the only quarterback in NFL history with at least 4,000 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and no interceptions in each of his first five seasons.
Brees has led the Saints to the playoffs every year since they moved to New Orleans in 2002. He has made the NFC Championship game in each of his last six seasons, including back-to-back trips to the Super Bowl after the 2010 and 2011 campaigns.
In 2011, Brees set an NFL record by completing 69.3 percent of his passes while leading the league in both yardage (4,688) and touchdown passes (48).
That statistic is also not a fluke—Brees averaged 8.2 yards per attempt in 2018. In 2019, he finished 74.3 percent of the time, falling barely shy of the record.

Brees set two NCAA records, 13 Big Ten Conference records, and 19 Purdue University records during his undergraduate career. He graduated from Purdue with Big Ten Conference records for throwing yards (11,792), touchdown passes (90), total offensive yards (12,693), completions (1,026), and attempts (1,026). (1,678).

Brees was drafted in 2005 by the San Diego Chargers out of Louisiana State University. In his rookie season, he played in all 16 games and started 13 of them. He completed 230 of 339 passes for 3,081 yards with 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The Chargers finished with a 9-7 record and made the playoffs as a wild card team.
Brees had another excellent season in 2006.
In 2018, Brees added another prize to his trophy cabinet, passing Brett Farve and Peyton Manning to possess the NFL's most coveted passing record: most career passing yards by a quarterback. Brees still owns that record, and he added to it in 2020, finishing with 80,358 career throwing yards. He also holds the records for most touchdown passes (476) and highest passer rating (117.4).
Brees' record-breaking season came in 2020, when he led the Saints to an 11-5 record while throwing for 4,952 yards and 39 touchdowns against only 10 interceptions. The Saints fell short of the playoffs, but they did make it to the second round of the postseason for the first time since 2013. After losing to the Indianapolis Colts 42-17, many expected Brees to leave New Orleans after nine seasons, but he announced late in the offseason that he would be returning for 2020.
Brees is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and he deserves all of these honors. He's been able to stay productive into his mid-30s because he makes smart decisions with the football and uses his receivers effectively. His presence has also helped bring success to the Saints, who haven't made the playoffs since 2013, despite having some good talent around him during his tenure.

Brees entered the NFL as one of its most prolific quarterbacks ever. Over his first four seasons, he threw for over 10,000 yards and 70 touchdowns. In 2004, he led the Saints to a 13-3 record and won the Super Bowl after the 2003 season when he had 4,476 passing yards and 49 touchdowns.
During his time with the Saints, he has been ranked number one by our system on seven occasions, more than any other player.
Brees signed with the San Diego Chargers as a free agent in 2006 and started eight games before injuring his shoulder. He returned in 2007 and had another great year with 4,883 passing yards and 38 touchdowns. In 2008, Brees set a new career high with 4,822 passing yards while also leading the league in interceptions with 33.
Brees is considered one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history and is ranked no. 3 behind Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
But enough of that; this piece is about Drew Brees' home! Brees has had a remarkable NFL career, with some of his most prominent accomplishments being being voted Super Bowl XLIV MVP and setting records in a variety of passing categories, including yards (11,792), attempts (1,678), and completions (1,678). (1,026). He also holds numerous other records including most consecutive games with a touchdown pass (43) and the all-time record for most total touchdowns (242).
After graduating from LaSalle High School in 1996, Brees attended and played college football at Purdue University. He stayed at Purdue for only one season before entering the 2001 NFL draft. The New Orleans Saints selected him with the number 1 overall pick. In the time since then, he has gone on to become one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history.
Brees has won a Super Bowl championship with the New Orleans Saints and has been named to several All-Pro teams during his career. He currently plays for the San Diego Chargers as a quarterback. Brees has also announced that he will be retiring after the 2019 season.
