Hard Rock Stadium's capacity for a football game has been lowered in recent years due to renovations. Originally, it was estimated that between 75,000 and 80,000 people could see the Miami Hurricanes take on Ohio State. As it turns out, only 65,000 people were allowed in with restrictions on what you could bring into the stadium.

The PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, planned for Jan. 2 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., will be played without spectators, the annual game's organizers confirmed on Thursday. The game is expected to attract a large audience based on its sponsorship opportunities.
The Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual on Jan. 1 has also decided to play its game indoors. The game was moved from Pasadena due to poor weather conditions. It will be held at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)'s Rose Bowl stadium.
Indoor sports arenas are used for athletic events when it is not possible or desirable to hold them outside. Some examples include indoor soccer stadiums and basketball courts. Indoor sports can be more popular than outdoor sports because they can be held any time of year even if it's cold or rainy out.
