Do you want to know when Nike will discontinue Kevin Hart? Nike appears to believe the problem has been rectified. According to a spokeswoman for Nike, "Nike is opposed to any kind of discrimination, and Kevin Hart's views are not aligned with Nike's support of the LGBTQ community."
In May 2014, however, it was reported that Hart had rejected an offer from Nike to work with their brand because they did not want him to promote gay rights in his videos. At the time, a representative for Hart said he didn't feel comfortable being involved with a company that allowed its employees to refuse service to certain customers.
Nike terminated its contract with Hart in September 2015, after he made several jokes about President Obama on social media. In those tweets, which have since been deleted, Hart called Obama a "racist" and a "homophobe". He also made fun of the president's wife, Michelle, saying she was "too ugly to be married to [her] husband".
Nike confirmed the termination of the contract but did not give a reason for doing so. It is possible that they wanted to move forward without being associated with a comedian who makes racist and homophobic remarks about the president and his family.
After his departure, Hart signed a $10 million deal with Adidas.
Nike declared on Tuesday that it will continue to support Tiger Woods following his DUI arrest over Memorial Day weekend. According to a business official, Nike has verified to USA TODAY Sports that their partnership with Woods will not alter. "Tiger is one of the greatest athletes in history and we are proud to call him an ambassador for our company," the source said.
Woods was suspended by the company after he admitted to alcohol abuse issues in April 2013. At the time, Woods told reporters that he was seeking help for his problem with alcohol.
"I want to sincerely apologize to my family, friends, fans, and the entire golf community for the embarrassment I have caused them," Woods said at the time. "This is an issue that I must deal with. I want to let everyone know that I am fully committed to getting myself back on track."
He later announced that he had entered a rehabilitation program.
Nike's decision not to drop Woods was criticized by some people, including former NFL quarterback Joe Theismann. He wrote on Twitter: "Nike should fire him. End of story. But they won't. Can you imagine what would have happened if Roger Federer or Michael Jordan had a drunk driving arrest?"
Nike stood by Woods when AT, Gillette, Buick, and Accenture left him following a string of public humiliations that began in 2009, including marriage infidelities, a trip in a sex-addiction rehab center, and a reckless driving conviction. A poor back has only served to keep him out of the game. He is now represented by sports agency IMG.
What do these two athletes have in common? They both had image problems they needed to fix before they could get back to playing their respective sports. For Woods, this meant ending his career clean after undergoing multiple surgeries for an addiction to painkillers. For Bryant, this meant putting away his gun after several incidents of violence during games and practices. Neither man would ever be considered "perfect" again, but both were given second chances by Nike and are currently enjoying successful careers.

Here's what he had to say about it: "Adidas was nice enough to let me test their shoes. But they told me they couldn't make a shoe work right now (probably because they weren't making any new models). So I went with Nike."
In addition, Jordan liked that Nike allowed him to have more control over his image. With Nike, you could do more commercials than just sneakers ads. And he felt that the company was willing to invest in marketing himself as a brand rather than just as an athlete.
Finally, Jordan believed that by signing with Nike, he would be able to influence the design of future products so that they would fit better and perform better too.
After leaving Columbia for Nike, Jordan became one of the most popular athletes in America. He was admired for his work ethic and knowledge of basketball. In addition, he improved his game dramatically, becoming one of the best players in history.
But besides all this, there's another reason why he chose Nike over Adidas.
