Khama is the PSL's highest-paid player. Kaizer Chiefs' new signing did not come cheap. The twenty-nine-year-old footballer earns R10 million every year. This corresponds to a monthly wage of R833,333, which is around eight times the average pay of most other footballers.
His salary makes him the highest-paid athlete in South Africa and among the top ten highest-paid athletes in the world. He joined Chiefs from Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of June 2017.
Before joining Chiefs, Khama used his skills to score many goals for his country South Africa.
