The Green Bay Packers of the National Football Conference (NFC) have won the most championships, 13 in total, according to statistics. It includes nine NFL championships prior to the merger and four Super Bowls. The Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL) won eight championships before moving to Los Angeles.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have won the most AFL/American Football League (AFL) championships with six. The Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers each have three AFL/NFL Championships. No other team has more than two titles.
The Chicago Bears have won the most championships at a single location with seven. They have done this by winning the NFC North division every year from 1952-2001, except for 1963 when they finished second to the Baltimore Colts. The New York Giants have the next most with five NFC Championship appearances, three of which resulted in title games. The Philadelphia Eagles have four AFC Championship Appearances, all of which ended in victories.
In terms of total wins, the Green Bay Packers are first with 215. They are followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers with 101 wins. The Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, and Detroit Lions each have one undefeated season.
Dallas has won the most conference championships with eleven. The Cowboys have won the NFC East division every year since 1993, except for 1994 when they finished second to the Buffalo Bills.

Charles Woodson and Charles Haley are the only players to win the NFL MVP award and a championship. Woodson did so in 2001 while playing for the Oakland Raiders; Haley did so in 1980 while playing for the Chicago Bears.
Terrell Owens is the only player to win an NFL MVP award and a championship while playing for another team. He did so in 2004 while playing for the Dallas Cowboys.
John Riggins is the only player to win the NFL MVP award and lead his team to the playoffs multiple times. He did so in 1974 and 1975 while playing for the Washington Redskins.
Emmitt Smith is the only player to win the NFL MVP award twice. He did so in 1990 and 1991 while playing for the Dallas Cowboys. Troy Aikman is the only other player to win the award twice.
Roger Staubach is the only player to win the NFL MVP award three times. He did so in 1969, 1973, and 1974 while playing for the Dallas Cowboys.
Championships and Super Bowls The Green Bay Packers have won more championships (13) than any other club in the National Football League's history. The Packers beat out the Dallas Cowboys for the most Super Bowl victories with six. The two teams have been involved in every single Super Bowl since its inception in 1970.
The Cleveland Browns were also in the game with a record of nine championships before they relocated to Baltimore in 1954. However, they never played in a championship game due to the NFL's policy at the time that only players on existing franchises could win titles.
In 1952, the New York Giants became the first major league baseball team to win a title when they beat the Brooklyn Dodgers 4-3 in Game 7 of the World Series. The last non-footballer to do so was Mickey Mouse in 1955.
However, there are many other leagues around the world that have crowned their own champions over the years including Europe's Bundesliga and Primera División in Mexico. There is even a United States regional professional soccer league called the USL Championship who have three times as much prestige as the MLS which they used to play in.
With 13 titles, the Green Bay Packers have won the most of any franchise.

The Green Bay Packers have won more championships (13) than any other club in the history of the National Football League. They won their first three league championships (1929, 1930, and 1931), and their tenth since the NFL's playoff format was implemented in 1933. (1936, 1939, 1944, 1961, 1962, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1996, and 2010).
The Packers' record is even better when you include the two Super Bowl victories they won in 1995 and 1996. By winning a total of four titles in the 1990s, they became one of only four clubs to win at least three consecutive championships (the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, and San Francisco 49ers are the others).
Before the start of the 2011 season, many fans believed that the Packers might be able to repeat as champions again. However, after losing several close games during the regular season and then being defeated by the New York Giants in the first round of the playoffs, many people wrote off the team as no longer being contenders for the title.
Still, there are many reasons why the Packers remain one of the most popular teams among fans across the country. First of all, they have one of the best quarterbacks in the game today in Aaron Rodgers. Second, they have one of the best defenses in the league when they want to be. And finally, owner Mark Murphy has shown he will do anything it takes to keep his team successful.
There was another honor in store for Brady. The victory equaled him for the most titles won by a starting quarterback in professional football with former Cleveland Browns quarterback Otto Graham and Green Bay Packers quarterback Bart Starr. Brady has now won seven titles, all of which have come in Super Bowls.
Brady and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft are close friends who have been known to chat before games about what it takes to be successful in football. But it's more than that: They're brothers from another mother who share many of the same values and attitudes toward work. It's no surprise then that both men have achieved such success in their careers. In fact, there are few players who have enjoyed as much success as Tom Brady has in the NFL. He's only missed the playoffs once in eight seasons and has four 100-plus rating campaigns.
Another thing they have in common is that they both love Boston's Fenway Park. Brady went there after the game to celebrate with his teammates and fans. In addition to winning a championship himself, Belichick also coached in the game which earned him its own title - the Coach of the Year Award. He has won this award three times, most recently in 2007 when he led his Patriots to an undefeated season.
It's safe to say that both Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are winners who have helped bring home many a trophy for their respective teams.
