In two of the previous three cycles, OSU has had a top-five recruiting class. Head coach Ryan Day has also exploited the NCAA transfer site to improve his squad, and while most college football fans are familiar with Justin Fields and Chris Olave from last season, there are plenty of other Buckeyes to watch in Friday's 8 p.m. Sugar Bowl. Including five players who started at least four games last year.
Last year's team was derailed by injuries, but still managed to win nine games for just the third time in school history. With 12 starters back, including eight on offense, there's no reason to believe this year's Buckeyes can't be even more successful.
Urban Meyer is one of the best coaches in OSU history, leading the Buckeyes to ten wins or more each season except 2014 when they went 9-4. The past two years under Ryan Day, Ohio State is 35-3 overall and 17-1 in the Big Ten. There's no reason to believe it won't be yet another successful campaign for Meyer and Company in New Orleans.
Ohio State is favored by about 20 points against LSU. While that seems like a lot, it's not surprising given how well the Tigers played down to their competition early in the season. They were able to close out their regular season with six straight wins, but fell short of making the College Football Playoff.
The Buckeyes have been picked to win every game this year by several different publications.
The seventh-ranked Buckeyes were chosen Sunday to play No. 12 Clemson in the Discover Orange Bowl, a day after their national-title ambitions and 24-game winning run were dashed with a loss in the Big Ten championship game. The game will be played at 8:30 p.m. on January 2nd at Orlando's Hard Rock Stadium.
The Orange Bowl is one of four BCS bowls scheduled to take place on New Year's Day. The other three are the Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix, the Cotton Bowl in Dallas and the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta. All the games will start at 6:15 p.m. Eastern Time (3:15 p.m. Central).
The Orange Bowl is sponsored by the Miami-based company that owns the Discover card. The game is known as the Discover Orange Bowl College Football Game. It is played each year in Florida during the first week of January. The 2016 game will be held at Hard Rock Stadium in Orlando.

This marks the second time these two programs have met in New Orleans with both teams looking to end their seasons on a high note. In 2014, Ohio State defeated Oregon 28-22 in what many consider one of the best college football games ever played. This year's edition is certainly no slouch either as both defenses were able to limit their respective offenses throughout the entire game. With that said, there was never any doubt who would come out on top in this matchup.
Ohio State entered the season ranked No. 1 in the AP and Coaches Polls for the first time since 2007 when they were also undefeated before losing to Michigan State in the Rose Bowl. They locked up all the major awards including Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, etc. After winning their third National Title in five years, it's safe to say these guys are for real. They dominated every game they played this season including a 42-14 victory over Clemson in the Sugar Bowl.
Every team member, on the other hand, earns a buckeye for each OSU victory, plus an extra sticker for Big Ten triumphs. If specific requirements are met, all units are eligible. Each member of the Buckeyes' defense, for example, earns a sticker if they record at least five three-and-outs.
Buckeyes get to keep their winning stickers and hang them in the locker room. They can also trade or sell them if they want to make some extra cash. There's no limit to the number they can have hanging up, but they cannot wear more than one sticker on the field at once.
Stickers are very important to Ohio State fans. Without them, there would be no way to show support for your team. If you win or lose a game without any stickers being handed out, then someone must have made the decision not to give out any. This could either be because there were not enough victories to merit a prize or because the school didn't want to spend its money on giveaways.
In conclusion, stickers are given out after every game to members of the Ohio State football team and coaches. The more important the game, the more stickers will be given out. If they don't win or lose a game, then nobody gets anything. This shows that fans should never take their stickers for granted. If they perform well in games, they will be rewarded with prizes.
