That being stated, here are the top five Cowboys quarterbacks of all time.
So here is my list of the greatest quarterbacks in school history.
The top five Green Bay Packers quarterbacks in franchise history Brett Favre is ranked first (1992-2007) Bart Starr No. 2 (1956-71) Aaron Rodgers, No. 3 (2005-present) Lynn Dickey 4 (1976-85) Don Majkowski No. 5 (1987-92)
Favre is a no-brainer for the top spot. The second year player is the most accomplished quarterback in Packers history. He won the NFL MVP Award in 1999 and was named to seven All-Pro teams during his career. Favre passed for over 10,000 yards and 79 touchdowns while playing in 160 games over 12 seasons with the Packers. He also led them to the playoffs nine times, including two NFC Championship Games and one Super Bowl appearance. After Favre retired, the Packers didn't have another player qualify for the Pro Bowl until 2015 when Rodgers made it his first season as a starter.
Starr is the only other quarterback in Green Bay Packers history to win the NFL Most Valuable Player Award. He was chosen by the Associated Press in 1958 after leading the Packers to a 9-3 record and their first NFL championship. Starr passed for 2,219 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions while playing in 16 games for the Packers that season. He then went on to play four more seasons for the Detroit Lions where he finished with more than 10,000 passing yards.
