The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced a new three-year partnership with IMG which will see both companies work together to identify and develop young players from across Asia who can be used by the AFC as future ambassadors for the game within their own countries. The partnership will see IMG work with some of the biggest names in football including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe to identify potential candidates.
The deal is the first major collaboration between the AFC and IMG and will see them work together to find and develop talented players from across the region who could one day play for the world's best clubs. Both organizations also share the same aim of promoting football in Asia and building stronger ties between Asia and the rest of the world.
