The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced a new three-year partnership with IMG which will see both companies work together to identify and develop young players from across Asia who can be used by the AFC as future ambassadors for the game within their own countries. The partnership will see IMG work with some of the biggest names in football including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe to identify potential candidates.
The deal is the first major collaboration between the AFC and IMG and will see them work together to find and develop talented players from across the region who could one day play for the world's best clubs. Both organizations also share the same aim of promoting football in Asia and building stronger ties between Asia and the rest of the world.
Real Madrid is the football club in Europe with the most appearances in the UEFA Champions League, having competed in the competition 51 times since 1955, with 451 matches played. They are followed by Italian team Juventus with 44 appearances. Bayern Munich and Milan have each appeared in every Champions League season since it was renamed in 1996.
Manchester United and Liverpool have both appeared in every Champions League season since its inception in 1992, while Arsenal has only missed one season out of 23 available opportunities.
Chelsea have never been relegated from the Premier League nor have they ever been eliminated from any European competition by an opponent. They have finished runners-up on two occasions (1999-2000 and 2008-2009) and won the FA Cup twice (1903-1904 and 1935-1936).

However, none of these teams have been as successful in international competition as Real Madrid, who have won the UEFA Super Cup, Spanish La Liga title, and Portuguese Primeira Liga all within two years twice each.
Liverpool FC is the most successful English club in Europe, having won the UEFA Europa League three times. The English team is also the only one to have won both the Premier League and the FA Cup during the same season - 1990-91. Manchester United is the most successful Scottish team in Europe, having won the UEFA Champions League once. The Old Trafford club was also the first British team to win the FA Cup when they beat Nottingham Forest 4-1 in 1953. Finally, AFC Ajax is the most successful Dutch team in Europe, having won the UEFA Champions League three times. The famous Ajax side is also the only one to have won the Eredivisie title (the top division in Dutch football) undefeated.
After five finals appearances without a win, Chelsea finally broke their duck in 1956 by defeating Red Star Belgrade 5-3 on aggregate in the first ever European Cup final. They have since gone on to win the tournament four more times, most recently in 2012.
