The Columbian Women's Football League was on the verge of being canceled in 2019. In this case, the Columbian beer brand Aguila recognized an opening and chose to intervene with an engagement dubbed "Half Fans." The campaign aimed to promote awareness about the league and help it survive by getting people interested in football through a unique concept: fans of both teams were invited to attend some games dressed in identical shirts.
Aguila launched its campaign by publishing a video on YouTube featuring two women who showed up at a game wearing identical shirts. They explained that they were half fans and that if one team won, the other one didn't want to feel left out. The video had more than 100,000 views within a few days. Then, the brewery released another video showing four more pairs of fans in different locations across the country wearing identical shirts. Finally, four more matches were scheduled between the two teams involved in the campaign. Each time the team that wins gets free beers for their members.
This campaign is different from others because it doesn't focus on players or coaches but rather on fans. It uses humor to get attention and has helped to increase fan participation throughout the season. This type of activation is recommended for brands that want to involve their customers in events around the city or country where they play or compete.

Football at Clemson: The 2019 season was the Clemson Tigers' 42nd year playing football. They were champions of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). It was their 33rd title game victory, winning their third consecutive and fourth overall. The Tigers defeated Georgia 26–0 in Atlanta to claim their second championship in three years. Clemson's first title in three years came one month after Alabama claimed its fifth straight national championship.
After losing to Alabama in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff (CFP), Florida State became the first 15-win team since Michigan in 2018 to not make the CFP. This was also Florida State's second playoff loss after beating Oklahoma in the 2013 Fiesta Bowl. The Seminoles finished with a 16-1 record and were ranked No. 2 during most of the season.
South Carolina ended USC's season with a 34-32 win in Columbia. The Gamecocks reached their first bowl game since 2014 when they lost to Utah in the Independence Bowl by four points. South Carolina went 9-3 this season under head coach Will Muschamp.
Colombia is going to be the host country of the 11th Pan American Games. The games will be held between 10 and 26 August 2021.
The city of Bogotá was selected by the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) on December 2, 2009. The announcement was made at a special session of PASO's Congress, which was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The congress voted in favor of the Colombian capital as host city with 92 votes in favor and one vote against (Venezuela).
Bogotá is the second consecutive South American city after Santiago de Chile to host the Pan Am Games. The first games were held in Toronto, Canada from July 23 to 39, 2001. Mexico City has been scheduled to host the games in 2003 but had to withdraw due to financial problems.
"Bogotá offers an innovative and sustainable plan for hosting major events," said Mayor Federico Gutierrez. "This is a great opportunity for our city and our country."
The MLB @ Field of Dreams presented by GEICO has been postponed to 2021 due to the impact of the coronavirus epidemic, with an official date of Thursday, August 12. It has been verified that the initial game matchup between the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees will be honored. The rescheduled game will be played at a time to be determined in late-August or early-September of 2021.
In 1989, a movie was made called "Field of Dreams" starring Kevin Costner. In this film, a farmer decides to build a baseball field for his town instead of a cornfield because people keep asking him why he doesn't play ball in his field. The film became a popular thing to say after the movie came out: if you built it, they will come. In 2001, another movie came out called "Fool's Gold" starring Robert Downey Jr. In this film, a former major league player builds a baseball field in Mexico where drug lords want him to coach their teams. He refuses at first but later changes his mind.
There are still many fans around the world who haven't seen "Field of Dreams" yet so we hope that game can be played someday soon!
The event was initially slated to take place in Argentina and Colombia from June 12 to July 12, 2020 as the 2020 Copa America... But due to the coronavirus pandemic, the games will have to be played entirely online.
An online tournament will be held to select the final two teams allowed to participate in the event. The top three countries by amount of points from their finishes in the online stage will qualify for the final two spots at the summer Olympics.
Argentina and Colombia were the only nations to enter the 2020 edition of the competition. Both countries withdrew after the South American country was denied entry to the Olympic Games due to security concerns. Brazil also withdrew from the tournament before its first game had been played because its national team could not receive an invitation due to political tensions with Argentina following a diplomatic crisis between the two countries.
In November 2019, CONMEBOL announced that the tournament would be cancelled due to health concerns regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The decision was made just over a month after the tournament was supposed to begin in Argentina. At the time, no cases of COVID-19 were reported in any of the four countries that make up CONMEBOL - Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Peru.
