Raptors of Toronto De Colo was dealt to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Austin Daye on February 20, 2014. He played only five games for the Raptors before being waived by the team.
De Colo came over to the Raptors after playing most recently with CSKA Moscow in the Russian Premier League. The 29-year-old Brazilian center has career averages of 8.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in 175 games (all Russia/Russia first division). He also has two years left on his contract with CSKA.

Leandro De Colo was born on January 4, 1988, in Montevideo, Uruguay. As a youth, he played soccer before deciding to try out for basketball at the age of 11. In 2004, he began playing for Bembibre Academy in Spain, where he stayed for five years. In 1999, he made his debut for Uruguay's national team at the South American Youth Championship, scoring 14 points in just six minutes of action. Two years later, at the 2001 World University Games in Beijing, China, he led his team to victory by scoring 19 points in the final game against Russia. At the end of the tournament, he was named MVP after averaging 22.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
De Colo was considered one of the best international prospects available in this year's draft. He had previously declared for the Uruguayan national team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, but withdrew himself from consideration due to injury.

Wright is a 26-year-old shooting guard from Canada who was drafted by Toronto in the first round (20th overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft. He spent three seasons with the club before being shipped off to the Memphis Grizzlies in a trade deadline deal. Wright has also played for the San Antonio Spurs and Brooklyn Nets since then. He averaged 11 points per game this past season for the Raptors' G-League affiliate, the Vaughan Vipers.
