The 2020 season was expected to begin on April 3, but due to the continued spread of the virus, that date has now been moved back a week to April 10. The regular season will end on Oct. 1. Los Angeles will remain camped out in Arizona this year while the team plays its home games at Dodger Stadium and the new stadium being built in Santa Monica will serve as its temporary home until a final decision can be made on a site in Los Angeles.
The Dodgers played their first game in Vero Beach, Florida, on February 14, 1916. They have not missed a season since then, going over.500 each year with the exception of 1918 (when America entered World War I) and 1941 (due to World War II). From 1972-1991, they went without a playoff game due to labor disputes.
Los Angeles has won more than half of their games every year except 1917 (when they only played 42 games) and 1991 (when they finished second).
During games, temperature checks, complete cleanings of gyms and facilities, including accessible sanitization stations, are all provided. Summer Registration is Now Available! The current Spring 2021 season has begun! Visit nycborhoodball.com for more information.
