Peterson is a member of the Minnesota Vikings, who played at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In the 2012 season, he led the league in rushing yards per game with 148.0. The next year, his production decreased as he only ran for 98 yards due to injury. In 2014, Peterson returned from injury and led the Vikings to their first playoff appearance since 2004. In 2015, he became the first player in history to gain more than 2,000 yards from scrimmage. In 2016, despite missing two games because of suspension, he still managed to break Eric Dickerson's record of 2,105 career rushing yards. In 2017, Peterson decided to retire from the NFL after nine seasons. He finished his career with 12,158 rushing yards and 100 touchdowns.
He entered the league as a third-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007 and was traded to the Lions that same year. He spent four seasons with Detroit before joining the Vikings.
In addition to his work with the ball club, Peterson has also had a hand in coaching youth football.

He was drafted by the Lions in 2004. Burleson went on to win a Super Bowl with the Lions in 2009. After five seasons with Detroit, he joined the Washington Redskins as an unrestricted free agent in 2009. He spent three seasons with the Redskins before signing with the Vikings as a free agent in 2012. Burleson announced his retirement at the end of the 2015 season.
Nate Burleson played college football at Utah State from 2000 to 2003. As a senior in 2003, he led the nation in punt return average with 22.4 yards per return. That same year, he earned first-team All-America honors from The Associated Press and Football Writers Association of America.
The Lions selected Burleson with their first pick in the 2004 NFL Draft. He immediately became one of the best receivers in the league, finishing with 65 catches for 897 yards and six touchdowns. In 2009, Burleson helped the Lions reach their first Super Bowl since 1957. They lost to the New England Patriots 14-2.
Seattle Seahawks in 2013 Buffalo Bills, August 26, 2012 July 29, 2011 Tarvaris Jackson-Dates joined the Seattle Seahawks in 2006. He started eight games that season and finished with 2,894 yards passing with 18 touchdowns against 11 interceptions. In 2007, he started 13 games and had 3,426 yards passing with 28 touchdowns against 14 interceptions. In 2008, he started all 16 games and had 4,046 yards passing with 36 touchdowns against only 10 interceptions.
After that season, the Minnesota Vikings signed him to a five-year, $25 million contract extension on January 12, 2009. He started four games that season before suffering a knee injury that required surgery. He returned in 2010 but was replaced by Brett Favre during midseason after Tarvaris got injured himself. At the end of the season, the Vikings chose to cut ties with Favre and bring in Jackson as their new quarterback.
In his first game as the full-time starter in 2009, he led the Vikings to a 27-24 win over the Chicago Bears. The following week, they lost 23-10 at the hands of the New York Giants. However, under his leadership, they went on to have a successful season finishing with an 8-7 record.
Vince Ferragamo/Dates began his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers in 1985, then moved on to the Buffalo Bills in 1982, the Los Angeles Rams in 1981, and the Montreal Alouettes in 1977. He finished his career with the Detroit Lions in 1975.
In 1981, Ferragamo was a first-team All-NFL selection. That year, he played in all 16 games and started nine of them at left guard. The Rams went 7-9 that season and missed the playoffs for the second straight year.
In 1974, Ferragamo joined the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. In three seasons with the Als, he started 44 games at left guard. After retiring from football, Ferragamo worked as an assistant coach for the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2001 to 2004 before becoming the offensive line coach for the Detroit Lions from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, he returned to his former team, the Buffalo Bills, as their offensive line coach.
Ferragamo is one of only two players who have started every game they've played in during their time with the NFL's Green Bay Packers organization. The other player is Eric Steinbach.
Ferragamo has also been selected to six consecutive all-star games during the last three decades of his career.

After retiring from football, Ponder moved on to work with players in Minnesota. In 2018, he became the quarterbacks coach for the Vikings under new head coach Mike Zimmer.
Prior to joining the Vikings, Ponder worked with the Cleveland Browns as their passing game coordinator.
Ponder will be a candidate for many starting jobs in the NFL after going 38-50 as a starter.
