Super Bowl 55 is just hours away, and this year's game will pit the Kansas City Chiefs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This will be the first time in NFL history that a franchise has hosted a Super Bowl.
The Chiefs won their second straight championship with a 24-20 victory over New England last month. This is only the third time in league history that two different franchises have won consecutive Super Bowls. The Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers are the other two team to do so.
Tampa Bay defeated Atlanta 27-24 in overtime to claim its first Super Bowl title. This is the first time that the Buccaneers have appeared in the big game; they lost 23-9 to Oakland in 1990 as a member of the American Football Conference (AFC). He is trying to become the first coach to win multiple titles with two different teams. Reid led the Philadelphia Eagles to six straight wins in 2008 before falling to Arizona 26-23 in the NFC Championship Game.

Running back Doug Martin left school early to enter the 2012 NFL Draft and was selected third overall by the Buccaneers. He went on to win the Rookie of the Year award that year. Martin started only three games in 2014 before suffering a torn ACL that ended his season.
Super Bowl LVI will be hosted by the AFC. Kansas City (+550) is the early favorite to win the 2022 Super Bowl, according to William Hill Sportsbook. Other contenders for next year's Super Bowl include the Packers (+900), Buccaneers (+1100), Ravens (+1200), Bills (+1200), and Rams (+1300).
The betting public has been very clear about its choice for the 2022 Super Bowl. Kansas City is favored by sportsbooks to win the game.
After missing the playoffs last season, the Chiefs returned almost everyone from a team that went 11-5-1 and made the postseason as a wild card entry. They'll look to build off that success when they face the Broncos in Miami on February 7th at Hard Rock Stadium. The game will be broadcasted by CBS with Jim Nantz and Phil Simms calling the action.
Miami was also expected to be one of the favorites this season, but an 0-4 start has them listed as one of four teams tied for first place in the AFC East with New England. Both of these franchises have winning records and should be able to bring their "A" games to Miami and Kansas City respectively. We predict that it will be a close game with Miami winning 23-20.

In August 2019, it was announced that the game will be played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida instead.
In 2016, before the pandemic, the NFL announced that its next regular season game would be played at a neutral site. The league had been considering several cities for this year's game including Phoenix, Indianapolis, and San Diego. However, all three teams decided to cancel their seasons due to concerns over coronavirus.
The Chiefs will be making their fourth Super Bowl appearance, first representing the AFC (then the AFL) against the Packers in Super Bowl I, then returning to the big game in 1969 and 2019. They'll be playing at their home ground of Kansas City in Super Bowl LIV.
