Primeira Liga UEFA Champions League Portugal's Taca FC Porto Taca da Liga (Leagues) - An annual football tournament held in Portugal, contested by the top teams from the Primeira Liga and Segunda Liga. The season starts in August and ends in May with the Portuguese Cup finals.
Porto has won this title five times. They are the most successful club in the history of the competition.
The first match was on August 19, 1931 and ended in a 1-1 draw between Porto and Sporting. Porto was able to defend their title for three seasons before being beaten by Benfica in 1934 and 1935. In 1936, they regained the title for another three seasons until they were again defeated by rivals Benfica in 1939, 1940 and 1941. In 1942, because of World War II, no championship was played and since 1943, Porto has been undefeated champion.
They have won a record 11 championships overall, including eight in a row from 1995 to 2002 when they broke the record by going unbeaten at home for 351 days.
After Porto, second place finishes in 1931/32, 1947/48 and 1956/57 qualify clubs for the Europa League.
Serie A and the UEFA Champions League are two of the most prestigious football competitions in the world. Italia Coppa Leagues/Juventus F.C. is a professional association football club based in Turin, Piedmont. The team plays in Serie A, the highest level of Italian football.
Juventus was founded on 28 February 1897 by a group of young athletes who were members of the city's only soccer club at the time. The original name of the club was "Associazione Football Club Juventus". In the first season, it played in the top division of the regional league system. In 1898, the club became one of the founding members of the national league system, now known as Serie A. Since then, it has never been out of the top flight.
The club's greatest player is undoubtedly Paolo Rossi, who played for Juventus from 1956 to 1970 and scored 105 goals in all competitions. Currently, the club's captain is Gianluigi Buffon, who has led the team to three consecutive Serie A titles and one European Cup/UEFA Champions League title. He has won almost every award there is to win including the Ballon d'Or.
Juventus' rival teams include AC Milan, AS Roma, and Calcio Catania.

Celtic are one of Scotland's most successful football clubs. They have won the Scottish Premier League six times and the Scottish Cup eleven times. Their home ground is Celtic Park, which they have used since its construction in 2003. The club was founded in 1887 by a group of Glasgow-based businessmen as St Joseph's Football Club. The original team played in white shirts and black shorts. Black and white were the club colours back then because yellow was not available for use as a football colour. The name "Celtic" was first used by the media when describing their games against English opposition. Before this time, there had been no such thing as a competitive game between Scotland and England - both countries used different rules so each match was considered a separate event.
They have competed in several major European competitions, most recently the 2018–19 UEFA Champions League season. Celtic earned their way into that competition by winning the 2017–18 Scottish Premiership title.
Their best performance in Europe was reached in the 2009–10 season when they reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
Premier League The Primeira Liga ([pri'majra'liga]; English: Premier League), commonly known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the highest professional association football competition in Portugal. It is operated by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The season runs from August to May and consists of two phases: a regular season which ends with the conclusion of the last game of the season, and a play-off series that will determine who will be crowned national champions. The winner of the Primeira Liga is awarded the title of Portuguese champion.
It is contested by 12 teams, with four relegated at the end of the previous season and eight promoted from the second division. Teams are ranked according to their performance during the previous season, with points awarded for wins and ties based on set ratios, while goal difference is not relevant for classification purposes. Teams are not required to win all their games, so long as they achieve a sufficient number of points to remain eligible for the title race. If there is a tie for the championship after the initial table is established, then a playoff series decides the final spot in next year's premier division.
The current champions are Porto who won their fifth title last season. They have been undefeated so far this year with 13 wins and no losses.
