The other three cities - Boston, Chicago, New York - have each had one of the teams win a title in the same year. But since any one of these franchises could potentially win another title this year, we are still waiting on Chicago to make its fourth appearance at the end of June.
Even though they have not yet done so, here are the current odds for which city will be the first to win all four titles: 1-5-2-1-2-5-1-2-1-1. That is, there is a one in five chance that no city will win all four titles this year; a two in five chance that two cities will win all four titles; and so on.
In fact, no city has ever won all four titles in the same year. The last time any team other than the Phillies finished with a World Series ring was when the Cubs ended the White Sox's playoff run in 2007. And even then, only one franchise won the title while the other two still dream about it.

Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, and Philadelphia are the only cities in the United States to have all four major sports leagues (Major League Baseball, National Football League, National Basketball League, and National Hockey League) inside their city borders. The Los Angeles metropolitan area has had a huge impact on sports throughout the country, with many athletes coming from California's Silicon Valley to work with some of the largest technology companies in the world. The area also has many universities that produce high-quality athletes who play at all levels of competition.
In addition to these five cities, Milwaukee, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York City, Toronto, and Washington D.C. can be considered part of a larger sports region because they are all located within an hour's drive of one another. These cities are home to many professional teams including baseball's Milwaukee Brewers, football's Minnesota Vikings, basketball's Chicago Bulls, hockey's Washington Capitals, and soccer's DC United.
The San Francisco Bay Area is another large sports region with many famous athletes from different sports backgrounds. Some of the most notable people that come from there include baseball players Joe DiMaggio and George Foster, basketball player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and football players Jerry Rice and Tim Brown.
Denver is the only other city besides Los Angeles with three of the four major sports leagues.

In fact, no city has ever even come close to doing this. The closest any city has gotten is two major titles in the same year. Chicago came within one game of doing this in 2016 when it lost in six games to Donald Trump in the World Series vs. Trump's Chicago Cubs. Otherwise known as "The President's Club" vs. "The Trophy Trailers". If you ask me, I think we should have gone with Toronto as the home team since they are now affiliated with the White Sox. But that's just me.
By major sports championships, I mean the MLB World Series, the National Basketball Association Finals, the National Football League Championship Game, and the National Hockey League Stanley Cup Playoffs. In other words, if your team is still playing in any of these tournaments, they're in the running.
It will be very difficult for any city to win all four major sports championships in the same year again because all four leagues have expanded recently, so there are more teams competing for attention from fans. In addition, the number of days in each season is increasing, so there's less time to accomplish something like this.
