Z-flex Longboards are pliable, enjoyable, simple to operate, and fashionable. They're well-made, simple to personalize, and a wonderful mode of transportation. Overall, they're a great investment whether you're new to longboarding or a seasoned pro.
The best part is that there are many different colors and designs to pick from if you don't want to ride around in black like I do. : The boards themselves are made out of a soft, flexible plastic that's easy to skate on but also durable enough for all types of riding conditions. Although they aren't the only board on the market, they have achieved legendary status among longboarders because of their reasonable price tag ($150 - $300) and overall excellent quality.
You can find these boards at most large sporting goods stores such as REI or Amazon. If you search online, you should be able to find them for less than $200 including shipping. That's not too bad if you ask me!
Jabin, Anthony Anthony Jabin, the current owner of Z-Flex, has autographed the bottom of this blue fiberglass Z-Flex skateboard. Jay Adams and the Z-Boys of Dogtown are the founders of Z-Flex Skateboards, which was formed in 1976. They made their first board out of a truck from a Toyota Corolla vehicle body with parts from another car called a Celica. In 1977, they made their first two-wheeled cart called the Z-Girl. In 1978, they released their first full skateboard called the Z-Board.
Anthony Jabin is the son of Jay and Linda Jabin. He has been involved in the company since he was 10 years old. In 1986, at the age of 19, he became president of Z-Flex. In 1990, he took over complete control of the company after his father died in a car accident. He has signed the bottom of this board and had it manufactured by Z-Flex as part of a series of custom boards.
Z-Flex is still run completely by Anthony Jabin today. He lives in California with his wife and two children.

In 2007, Z-Flex announced the creation of its own skate park called "Z-Boarding Park". The park is located in San Marcos, California and features a half-pipe, flatground areas, and a street course. It is estimated to have cost $1 million to build.
Hawk also serves as an ambassador for the brand by appearing in television commercials and promoting certain products through social media.
