According to EA, the top 100 is made up of a number of well-known football talents who have maintained their place in the "100 Club." Lionel Messi [93-rated] is the top player in the rankings, with Cristiano Ronaldo [92-rated] and Robert Lewandowski [91-rated] rounding out the top three. Other players in the top 100 include Neymar [89-rated], Kylian Mbappe [88-rated], Mohamed Salah [87-rated], Luka Modric [86-rated], Manuel Neuer [85-rated], Franck Ribéry [84-rated], Arjen Robben [83-rated], Thomas Muller [82-rated], Andrés Iniesta [81-rated], Robin van Persie [80-rated], and Gareth Bale [79-rated].
There are no female players in the top 100.
The only non-European is American Danielle Henderson [38-rated], who plays for Swedish club Linköping FC and has 1 million followers on Instagram. She's the second highest-ranked American after Carli Lloyd [67-rated], who last played for the United States in 2015. The first FIFA game introduced its ratings system in 2001, so this isn't exactly a new feature. However, it's possible that more high-profile players will be added to the list as the franchise continues to grow in popularity.

Messi, 26, is the most decorated player in international football history, having won four FIFA World Player of the Year awards and one Golden Ball award. The Argentine forward has also been named the UEFA Champions League's MVP three times.
He is a four-time winner of the Balón de Oro (Golden Boot) award, scoring a record 42 goals in 44 matches during the 2009-10 season. His other achievements include two consecutive Champions Leagues with Barça and one Club World Cup title.
The only other player to win four FIFA World Player of the Year awards is Pele. The Brazilian striker is the all-time leading scorer in the history of the game with 552 goals in 705 matches.
He is also the most decorated player in Brazil's national team history, winning 89 caps between 1959 and 1970. He is also the most awarded player in Corinthians history, receiving five Balón de Oro awards.
Other notable names on the list include Cristiano Ronaldo, Arda Turan, Neymar, Lionel Messi and Paulo Futre.
