The traction was excellent, and the padding was really comfortable. Overall, the LeBron 17 Low is a good performer, but it's not worth $170, especially given the inferior upper materials. Although $170 is an expensive price, I don't believe you will be disappointed if you get the LeBron 17 Low.

LeBron James' brand new signature shoe has arrived and it's called the "Soldier." This colorway features Black, Grey, and Red with a black interior and a white Nike logo on the heel.
The shoe itself is very similar to other models from Nike that were recently released such as the Air Force 1, Air Max 90, and Air Max 1. It has the same exact design as those shoes with some minor changes here and there. For example, the forefoot of the LeBron Soldier has a bit more rocker than the others but it's still very flexible so it shouldn't be an issue playing basketball in them.
One thing that does set this shoe apart from the others is the addition of a multi-functional tool located right inside the tongue. This tool can be used for hanging clothes, removing snow from cars, and even acting as a pry bar if needed!
