Is Chris Jericho coming back to WWE in 2020?

Chris Jericho will wrestle in the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble Match for the first time since July 2017 at the Greatest Royal Rumble event. The match will be held on January 27th, 2020 during WrestleMania 36.

In other news, Jericho is now listed on WWE's website as one of the stars who will be attending the company's 25th anniversary celebration at Madison Square Garden on March 23rd. His bio states that he plans to retire after one match against Shawn Michaels.

Jericho has been absent from WWE television programs since October 2019 when he appeared at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view with a new storyline explaining his absence. He was replaced by Jeff Hardy who had returned to the company a few months earlier.

It should be noted that Jericho has not signed any contracts with WWE and is currently under contract with AEW where he will make his return at some point in April. However, it is possible that AEW could let him go early if they feel like it can get away with it. Then again, Jericho could always decide to quit again before their match.

Their past encounters have been very memorable with both men being praised for their efforts by many fans and critics.

Why did Chris Jericho leave in 2005?

Jericho did left the WWE in 2005 after being "burned out" on pro wrestling in general. Fans missed Jericho while he was away, and he didn't accomplish much with any outside initiatives during his time away, leading him to return to WWE.

When he returned in 2006, he had a new attitude and persona as a heel (bad guy). He told Vince McMahon that if he were to return, he would do so as a villain, which caused McMahon to fire his agent Bob Brown. This led to Jericho signing with Vince Russo's company, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

After signing with WWE, Jericho made his return at WrestleMania 22 where he defeated Shawn Michaels for the World Heavyweight Championship. He held onto the title for nearly three months before losing it to John Cena at SummerSlam. Since then, Jericho has been involved in several storylines including one with The Undertaker at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2011.

In 2012, Jericho started working independent events again and has been very successful at them. In addition, he has been using the social media platform Twitter to interact with his fans.

When did Chris Jericho beat Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Chris Jericho frequently brags about beating The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin on the same night to become the first undisputed champion, simultaneously holding the WCW and WWE belts. Chris Jericho appeared on another Saturday Night Special program. This time he was joined by Jeff Jarrett and Matt Morgan for a six-man tag team match against The Alliance (Rocky Romero, Bradshaw and Williams). During the match, Jericho managed to get the win when The Alliance tried to help their partner Jarrett against him, only for Jericho to kick all of them out of the ring at the same time.

Jericho's victory over The Rock was officially declared on December 31, 2002, during New Year's Revolution, where both men faced each other in a championship unification match. The winner would be declared the greatest wrestler in history. Despite being ranked higher in the polls, Jericho agreed to the match because he wanted to prove that he was still the best in the world. Before the match could start, though, The Rock got into the game by hitting Jericho with a guitar and then stripping him naked before covering him with his belt as a sign of respect. After this incident, we went back to our original match which resulted in a no contest after both men were counted out. It can be said that Jericho defeated The Rock to become the greatest wrestler in history.
