Because some individuals are more comfortable with metric units than imperial, six feet equals 182.88 cm, therefore any goalie under that height is eligible for this seven. Badia, Edgar, Friedel, Harper, Heurelho Gomes, Miller, and Scott are all listed as being under 6 ft.

For comparison, the average male American adult height is 66 inches or 167 cm. The most famous keeper in World Football History was Gordon Banks (1934-1995). He was a British goalkeeper who played for England and the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball.
