During the league stage, each club will play at four different locations. Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru will each host ten league matches, while Ahmedabad and Delhi will each host eight. This means that each team will be on the road for nearly one-quarter of their games.
The exact number of matches played per team will depend on how many games are required to determine the champions. If five teams are involved, then the top three move on to the playoffs; if only four teams remain, then they would split into two groups and play a double-header format with both groups playing on consecutive days. In either case, the season would end with a best-of-three final between the two remaining teams.
In addition to these twenty-four matches, there is also a playoff round called the Champions League T20 which will involve the three top teams from the league stage. The winner of this round will go on to face the team with the most trophies at the end of the season in the grand finale known as the IPL Trophy. The two winners of this final will meet in an epic match for the title.
As a result, all teams must play 9 games. That equates to 45 matches. If it's a single round robin (in which all teams play each other once), all five teams will play 20 league matches and a final. If it's a double round-robin (in which each team plays every other team twice), then the total number of matches is 90 (30 per team).

The MLS season starts early and ends late. The regular season lasts for 26 weeks, with each club playing 18 games during that time. The top four clubs by conference standings at the end of the regular season will advance to the playoffs. In the first round of the playoffs, the two highest-seeded teams play one game with the higher seed hosting. The winner of that game goes on to play the fourth-highest seeded team in the second round. This stage of the tournament consists of two games, with the team that wins both games moving on to the Conference Semifinals. The Conference Finals are also two games, with the team that wins both games going up against the third-highest seeded team in the MLS Cup Final.

There are 228 matches. The league tries to balance the schedule such that clubs in the same section play each other twice at home and twice away, although this is not always achievable. A total of 228 matches will be contested, with each side playing 38 matches. This is the most extensive season for almost 20 years.
The top four teams will qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage. The fifth-placed team will take part in a two-legged tie against the team ranked fourth from the Premier League who do not qualify for the Champions League. If these results are still tied after 90 minutes in the second leg, then extra time will be played followed by a penalty shoot-out if necessary.
All Scottish Premiership matches are played under the rules of fair play, including yellow cards which can lead to ejection, and red cards which result in a suspension. There is no limit on numbers of players per team, but only five substitutes are allowed during a match.
The new format was launched with the opening day fixtures on 13 August 2019. All matches were shown live on Sky Sports, with additional live coverage on BBC Sport online. Subject to television rights being available, there would have been an annual double header featuring one Scottish game and one English game on Boxing Day.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the IPL Chairman's Committee today. This season's finale will be between the Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The winner will take home $250,000 while the runner-up will get $100,000.
The Mumbai Cricket Club (MCC) has been selected as the venue for the opening match of the IPL 2021 season. The match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Deccan Chargers on April 14th at the Wankhede Stadium. The winner will take home $250,000 while the loser will get $50,000.

Format of the competition The Premier League is made up of 20 clubs. Each team plays the others twice (a double round-robin format) throughout the course of a season (from August to May), once at their home stadium and once at their opponents', for a total of 38 games. A team earns three points for a win and one point for a tie.
The top two teams at the end of the season will then meet in the Premier League Cup, a knock-out tournament played between the final day of the regular season and the first day of the following month. Teams that finish 3rd through 6th will play in a promotion/relegation system called the Play-Offs. These are based on league position with 3rd playing 4th and so on until we get to the bottom club which plays against another lower-ranked club for a place in the next season's Premier League. If the game ends in a draw, it goes into extra time along with the next day's games where a winner can be decided. If there is still no winner after this, then a penalty shoot-out will take place like before.
The team that wins the most matches overall is declared the winner of the Premier League. However, if they have also won the most games according to how many points they have scored or avoided losing, they will be awarded the title of "Premier League champions".
